These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the First Key Rentals website, online booking platform, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). By creating an account or completing a reservation, you agree to these Terms.
Eligibility
You must be at least 21 years old (or the minimum age required for your selected vehicle class), hold a valid driver license, and provide accurate account and rental information. We reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion.
Reservations and pricing
- Quotes displayed online include applicable taxes and fees shown at checkout unless otherwise stated.
- A reservation is confirmed only after successful payment or explicit confirmation by our team.
- Vehicle availability is subject to change. If a vehicle becomes unavailable, we will offer a comparable alternative or a full refund.
- Minimum rental periods and cancellation windows are displayed during booking and in your confirmation email.
Payment
Payments are processed through Stripe. You authorize us to charge the payment method provided for the total rental amount, approved extras, and any applicable post-rental charges (fuel, tolls, damage, late return, cleaning, or traffic violations) as described in your rental agreement.
Cancellations and refunds
Cancellation terms depend on the rate selected and timing of cancellation. Free cancellation may be available up to 24 hours before scheduled pickup unless otherwise noted. Refunds are returned to the original payment method where possible.
User accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of unauthorized use.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Provide false or misleading information
- Use the Services for unlawful purposes
- Attempt to interfere with site security or availability
- Scrape, reverse engineer, or abuse our APIs without authorization
Intellectual property
All content on the Services — including logos, text, images, and software — is owned by First Key Rentals or its licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FIRST KEY RENTALS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE RELEVANT RESERVATION.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall be resolved in Broward County, Florida, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
